It’s always a shame when you buy a brand new toy for your pet and 5 minutes later, the toy is a shredded mess. A great way to keep your pet in plenty of toys, without breaking the bank, is also the perfect way to upcycle old clothes and fabrics. Pick out a few of your favorite monsters and transfer the design onto an old t-shirt or pillowcase. Sew on the back panel - not forgetting to invert the image - turn the fabric inside out, fill the toy with stuffing or whatever soft materials you might have around the house - material cuttings, cotton wool, etc, and stitch together the final seam. Voila - a homemade dog toy and if it doesn’t last long, your download will be at the ready to craft a replacement! Try adding an additional layer of sturdier material to help the toy last longer, such as old jeans or leather.
